其中需要考虑就是要平衡前期安装成本和后期运行成本，这里的安装成本包括了离心风机成本，电机成本，风机安装尺寸等。

但是有些系统的系数考虑过大，也是没有必要的。比如说离心风机实际运行压力只有预期压力的50%。导致离心通风机在非常的效率点运行，甚工况点偏离选型点过远而引起电机过载。虽然可以改变风机的转速来解决电机过载问题。却也因此损失了很多风量从而降低了系统的生产能力。

这种情况下，简单的解决方法是选择大功率电机，但会因此同时增加安装成本以及后期的运营成本。与离心通风机在设计中仅仅考虑增加压力余量，不如结合余量与风机的选型，增大使用压力到风机曲线高点压力范围，使操作压力有较大的余量。

In this case, the simple solution is to choose high-power motor, but it will increase the installation cost and later operation cost. It is better to combine the safety margin with the type selection of the fan and increase the range from the operating pressure to the high point of the fan curve, so that the operating pressure has a larger margin.

如果起初系统设计预留20%的系数被认为是较理想的，那么离心通风机选型应选择风机操作点压力少低于高压力的15%，并同时预留10%的系数。这样就会确保所选择的风机会在运行过程中更接近所需的的工作点。
