罗茨风机在运转和输送空气的过程中,转子间的腔体不发生容积变化,压力来自于把大量的空气强制送入一个体积比较小的外部腔体中,如:管道或储气罐中,外部腔体中空气的密度不断提高,从而产生压力,通常称之为“外压缩”。罗茨鼓风机结构简单,强制送风(送风量不受排气压力影响),自身不产生压力。
